Nice one! Will those participants be at Waddington on just the 28th or for the whole week? I'd love to get down there but can only do so on the 30th and 1st.

The jets will be flying as far as i'm aware, last year was one of the worst for fog and darkened skies IIRC Couldn't even see the pyrotechnics that were detonated later on lol. Hopefully the weather will be more accommodating this year.

this sounds fantastic however if the demo day is the 29th why would the aircraft stay there the rest of the week and can we expect any more aircraft ie the awacs, nimrod and sentinel seeing it's there base to be involved also?

The main flying day is intended to be around 29th, when all the Top VIPs attend. The remaining 2 days are for other senior and international members, students and overseas staff etc. Also included are a number of ground elements for displaying service expiditionary and deployed capabilities. The C17, C130, and VC10 fit nicely into the role aspects of deployed capability. Nimrod, Sentry and Sentinel will still be at Waddington during this period.
