Hi, I was down Dogdyke end with scanner and heard nightmare 31 and 32 on air to air. NM32 reported amber fuel light and other warnings so NM31 tailed and helped identify problem, they found fuel venting from tail, said the main tank was full but one of the external tanks didn't realise and were still pumping thus making it vent, after drills and stuff the venting stopped and light went to blue then back to orange, they eventually got it blue but there was still a warning so they decided to bring it in, chute was deployed because safe fuel weight for landing is 3 ton and he had 4.5 so it was too heavy and needed chute to slow down. Hope this helps.
