FIRST OFF: Before I start anything, apologies to those of you who have slower internet connections. It might take you quite a while to load this page.
With less than a week until Uni, I figure my Mildenhall-athon is over for now. I thought I might as well collect all my pictures together and present the highlights of the month.
Special thanks must go to BOLLO, Stigorige, CHRIS D, RYNO56, Spirit of Kitty Hawk, Pikey01, Dazza, Beer Monster and many others for the awesome banter, heads ups and company. Cheers guys!
Anyway, on with the photos. In chronological order, I have included the callsign and serials if anyone is looking for them.
Day 1: The first day of hunting for me, was great to meet Pikey01, Dazza, and beer monster. Didn't manage to catch what we were all there for, but there were a few nice movements to make up for it.
1.REACH 559 KC-135R 63-8027
2. SNOOP 56 RC-135W 62-4131
3. ROCKSTAR 93 UC-12F 163560
Day 2: Dull and overcast, I was still determined to catch my target, who didnt appear for the second time. The day was almost a throw away, with limited movements, the star being the Open Skies.
4: OPEN SKIES 12T OC-135B 61-2670
5. DUKE 10 C-12U 84-0180
6. DUKE 09 UC-35A 97-0101
Day 3:Typically, the weather was slightly better but the movements were slightly worse.
7. REACH 259 KC-135R 61-0298
Day 4: Hoorah! She flies! Nothing more to be said really, was well worth the wait. Only downside was that "Montys Law of Rubbish Lighting" came into play.
8. REACH 1019 AC-130U 89-0510
Day 5: Completely unplanned this, I thought my trek was over. However, having a Lancer in at the Hall was definately worth a look!
9: RAMA 52 B-1B 85-0083
10: NATO 12 E-3A LX-N90458
Day 6: Two days later and I was back. Another super-rare movement, first for 5 years I believe. This was a must catch for me.
11: GLOW 14 E-8C 94-0284
Day 7: Certainly the worst day of the month, with only 2 visiting aircraft whilst I was there. I went down to catch a KC-130J, but missed it by 10 minutes......
12: REACH 339 KC-135R 61-0284
Day 8: After a bit of a break, I zipped down to catch the Mercury on his last mission before heading home.
13: RAZZ 33 E-6B 163919
Day 9: In terms of movements, this was up there with the best. 2 Galaxys, an E-3 and a Kadena KC135!
14:REACH 600 KC-135T 58-0046/ZZ
15: SHUCK 80 E-3B 78-0576
16: REACH 7035 C-5B 87-0035
17: REACH 337 KC-135R 63-8875
18: REACH 6017 C-5B 86-0017
Day 10: And finally the last day! With the Mildenhall Tankerfest well underway, and C-130J-30s rumoured for the evening I decided to go down....again.
19: HERKY 819 C-130E 72-1299
20: REACH 151 KC-135R 62-3500
21: REACH 869 C-130J-30 05-8152
And that was it! Just a few aircraft there, cut down drastically from the many different movements I photographed. However, no trip to Mildenhall would be complete without the Home Team!!
22: QUID 30 KC-135R 62-3519
23: TALON 71 MC-130H 87-0024
24: REACH 1026 MC-130P 65-0991
25: QUID 31 KC-135R 58-0100
26: TALON 71 MC-130H 88-1803
So there you have it - a month of Mildenhall (that said, BOLLOs collection is much more impressive!)
Ben

Good work- recently managed a day and a half down there and didn't have much luck- you've got the reward from putting the hours in. Wish I lived closer! A great selection.

Great set Ben,I managed to cut the grass,re-write the bible, have several shaves, grow many years older, watched the kids grow-up,got the car serviced, watched the entire back-catalogue of Eastenders,Coronation Street,Emmerdale and the BBC News and built a large extension to the rear of the house while your pics loaded
Only joking mate, all the best at Uni.Enjoy the parties !

A rest?! I'll be biking there from Uni, will only take me a day or so!
beer monster - It's not cambridge unfortunately (that would be brilliant for Mildenhall trips), I'm going to Loughborough to do Aero Engineering.
Flaps - that did make me laugh!
Cheers for all the comments guys, same again next year I think!

Lovely selection of shots of some great aircraft - that Kadena 135T is terrific. Thanks for the regular postings of shots - always very good to see what's been going on and what I've missed! Best of luck at Uni. Dan
