Hi all, What an afternoon it was pointies ago-go light was not brilliant for this location as it really needs full sun to do it justice and would really have loved to have been one of the 2.8 brigade as bad light is one of the few things that shows up my Sigma 80-400mm, that said it was a cracking afternoon and as most of the passes were at 250ft it was great, as 251ft is to high here and makes for a sky shot! Pics from today on there way
Afraid the light was on its way to hell in a handcart by the time these came thru
And a little differnt one to finish
Cheers Gareth

Good stuff there! I particularly like the Harrier pair coming in through the valley (3rd from the top). Looks like your Sigma did pretty well there, despite the light. Never realized that one feet up or down the hill would make such a difference. The Mach Loop is still on my list of things to do, just for the fun of experiencing something like this first hand! Thanks for sharing these pictures with us! Cheers Andy

Gents, thanks for all the genorous replies it was a good day Michael, still plodding on with the Canon 350D and the Sigma 80-400 but still very pleased with what it can throw up, see you have been out and about recently with good results. Cheers Gareth
