The sun lost its battle after a sunny start and it was grey day but at least it did not rain! A pair of hawk's and 2 singletons,a pair of Naval Stike Wing Harrier's and 1 F3 Tornado was the Trade. I was gutted with the Tonka as i could only get one shot which was garbage due to a lens prob but ive included it for reference, thanks to Paul H for the company,we both got the same shot of a Leeming Hawk so i havent put mine up.

Seems like ages since I have had a day at the mast. Seems the traffic is still around so might have a drive over
Good pics there despite the lighting

Kicking myself for not getting there 5 minutes earlier for the pair of Harriers. I blame those traffic lights at the roadworks between Keswick and Penrith . (Can't you tell I'm not very jealous about the Navy Harrier!!)
Great to catch up with you yesterday Ian and I'll let you know next time I plan to come over.
Cheers Paul.

Harriers were Satan 1+2 taking part in Flying Rhino excercise at Loch Ewe. The F3 looks like HP which was flying as Scimitar 11+12 with 43 sqn spcl GF! Got them dropping into low level in the Moffat Valley together and they then went low level for about 30 mins,I guess this is where they ended up! Sadly both aircraft dropped below the hill line to late for me to get a worthwhile shot of them!!
