Now August has past and the airshows season in the UK is coming to a close, and we are strolling towards our first anniversary of the New FC.
Are there any plans to celebrate this or mark it with an occasion.
Can I suggest Fighter Control photograph of the Year 2009 (Moderators Choice, so they can't be in it LOL) with sub catergories
Under 21's
Ladies (if there is enough of them)
Over 50's
Overall Photographer
Best Non Aviation Pic
Best Moderator Pic (From selections contributed by mods and we the members vote which is the best)
and special mention for the biggest forum contributor of the year (Title "FC's Loudest"  ).
Prizes will be a special Member title that they hold for a year.
Just an idea and I mention it now because I think September to December will be enough time for the Moderators to go through the catergories, with closing date for photo contributions being the 01 Dec 09.

Trust a Geordie living in Brum to come-up with some good ideas...
Although November 16th is the official public birthday, November 12th is when I started to put things together.
I shall see what the team think of these ideas, and I think the Ladies only competition would be good, as we do need some more female interaction on the forum.
