My dad went to the one earlier this year, and went for a walk around in the industrial estate and found a few surprises

But not aircraft related though.

Not sure if he is going to this next one

You'd better be quick then. If this afternoon's anything to go by, I reckon the action'll all be over by 0900.

Completely lost?

What were the surprises?

Why is a day's action over by 09.00?

No more cryptic posts please.

Out of courtesy will someone please explain. Mad

Well, for my part, I went to the hall this afternoon and the only thing moving was the combine in John's field. And the grass growing. And some paint drying. Once the E-8 leaves at 8 in the morning, I'm at pains to guarantee myself a better time sitting there than I'm likely to have at the Rougham air show. So, as you said yourself, 'early pedal time'.

If you didn't go you missed one hell of a treat. Some of the best flying I've ever seen and up close and personal. If you missed it you have my sympathies! See other threads on this forum for photo's.
