Had been to the NASM In Washington a couple of years ago and had a show just down the road from here so took a couple of hours off work , again. An absolutely amazing place and if you get the chance , go !

yes it is a restoration project , according to Wikipedia there were 3 HE 219's taken by the US Government after the war , follow the link below:
