Hello,
Perhaps not quite the right place to post on..??..if it was not out of Coningsby.?
This morning from 8-06am for at least 10 minutes there was jet...heard but not seen..just? above cloud layer...that was orbiting or manouvring up to Spilsby area..and away to the SW...ie; E of Coningsby.
It was quite light in engine note or was being operated quite steady-ish..
...any info.??

Yes they were QRA both then went into a hold above the airfield.

Busy QRA duties recently, or at least it seems.
According to Milky's excellent site the QRA pair are now QON and DA

No problem Kevin. Really great site. 
Is it me then, or does QRA seem busy in the last few months? Hard to know how many operations are drill/training but it is intriguing to ponder the type, frequency and origins of perceived threats. I think anyway.

I think it is 50/50 at the moment sat was a real shout as both left on burners.
